Welcome!

The FI3T Project is please to announce the formation of the FI3T Science Design Team.

The science team concentrates on three different but related applications of IT in the sciences; measurement, modeling, and mapping.

Project participants

  • use GPS and GIS for mapping and mathematical descriptions of locations,
  • use temperature and light sensors in the sciences,
  • create mathematical models using STELLA that incorporate measured quantities and make predictions.
The FI3T Science Design Team is lead by Dr. Dan Lawson, Dr. Jacob Napieralski, Ms. Sharon Holloway, and Ms. Sybil Sharpe. The student team members are: Joshua Breadly, Candice Brooks, Terrance Collier, Dasha Dent, Diamond Flemons, Geateea Northington, Alex Shropshire, Ryan Stepney, Theonica Tayler, and Kenneth Williams.
